Medium-Tall Lotus Plants

LOTUS ship from Mid March until May based on your location

Medium - Tall lotus need an 18"- 24" wide pot minimum to bloom properly for you. They grow well in  heavy loam soil along with calcined clay, loamy topsoil or clay mud. Never fertilize until 2 leaves stand above the water in spring. Once established, these taller/ larger lotus can handle 5 to 12 inches of water above the tubers. Lotus bloom best with as much sun as possible (8+ hours per day). By midsummer you should feed your lotus every 7 to 14 days. Lotus are very heavy feeders. We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs + Humates for best bloom, optimum growth and ease of use. Simply press the tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus, taking care not to damage the roots. Do this throughout the growing/blooming season (June through September).
