Lotus Plant Description
Feathered Skirt Lotus is a dreamy lotus with a hint of ballerina-pink over the petals. The outer petals on Feathered Skirt Lotus are star shaped and the inner petals are shorter, creating a breathtaking bloom! This is a smaller, sacred lotus and looks beautiful in ornamental containers on your patio, deck or balcony.

How to plant your lotus
Plant your lotus using wide, no-holes containers. Fill container 2/3 full with loam soil. Dig a trench on the surface of the soil and place the lotus tuber in the trench. Cover all but the growth tips with soil. Add 3 - 4 inches of water above the soil and place in a sunny area outdoors (8 - 12 hours of sunlight daily).
How to fertilize your lotus
Fertilize your sacred lotus plant only after you have aerial leaves growing out of the water. We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs for best bloom and optimum growth. Simply press the tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus plant, taking care not to damage the roots.
