Brilliant Red Lotus, the deepest darkest red of the reds.

LOTUS ship from Mid March until May based on your location

One of the most common questions our customers ask, "What is the deepest, darkest red?" For many years, there were just deep pink varieties in North America. Today we have superior, deep-red lotus. Most blooms are the deepest color on the first day, however, nutrition and temperature play a role. Cooler nights and better nutrition lead to the deepest of the deep colors. Low nutrients can lead to fading on day 2,3,4 of the flowers. Genetics also play a role, some varieties never fade and some lotus fade substantially. These are very red, Titan is the deepest red of the whole collection, if you want to grab that while it is available. It is also a heavy bloomer!
