Lotus Plant Description
Thousand Petals Lotus is famous for multi-headed flowers. While blooms are occasionally double-headed, the single-headed blooms are beautiful as well. The color on Thousand Petals Lotus is amazing. Thousand Petals Lotus has beautiful, rosy-pink color that is washed over the petals with darker pink on the inner petals as the bloom unfolds! Blooms usually have 60 to 100 petals. Often a symbol of good luck, this exquisite lotus will bring beauty and grace to any water garden setting.
Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant in large, wide, shallow container in heavy loam soil and place in full sun (8 - 12 hours of sunlight daily) with 4-6 inches of water over lotus tuber. Do not fertilize until you have aerial leaves.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize after you have two standing, aerial leaves growing out of the water, fertilize monthly with fertilizer tabs, June through September.
