Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant in heavy loam soil in wide, shallow pots with 2 - 4 inches of water above the surface of the pot. Plant in full sun (8 - 12 hours of sunlight daily). Do not fertilize until you have aerial leaves growing out of the water.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize monthly (June through September) once you have two standing leaves growing up out of the water, using slow release fertilizer tabs.
