PINK LIPS LOTUS blooms look as though they have been kissed by an angel with a soft blush of pink at the top of the petals and creamy whites, yellows and pinks follow. The large flowers stand high above the foliage and make a statement when planted in pond or in large container on deck or patio. Plant in large, wide, shallow container in heavy clay soil with 6-8" of water above the top of pot once established. Place in full sin and fertilize monthly once two aerial leaves are growing out of the water. Fertilize monthly with fertilizer tabbs.
Many large lotus specimens are used for vegetable crops. For complete instructions on growing lotus as a vegetable, go to our "How To Grow Lotus As An Edible Vegetable" page VERSICOLOR/TALL/SINGLE
