Lotus Plant Description
Cuddlin' Caroline Lotus is another in the 'Princess Series Lotus', a bright, beautiful, medium-tall sacred lotus with gorgeous, single petal lotus flowers on this heavenly lotus plant! Cuddlin' Caroline Lotus has remarkable red color on the lotus flowers and they look amazing next to the lovely, green foliage. A perfect addition to your water garden setting or in pots on your patio!
Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant your lotus tuber in wide, shallow containers using loam soil. Gently add 4 inches of water above the lotus in the container and place in a sunny area outdoors (8 - 12 hours of sunlight daily. Fertilize your lotus after you have aerial leaves on your sacred lotus plant.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize your lotus plant only after you have aerial leaves growing out of the water. We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs for optimum growth, best bloom and ease of use. Simply press the tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus plants. Take care not to damage the roots. Fertilize from June through September, making your last fertilizer application in early September. This will allow your lotus plant to go into dormancy naturally.
