Russian Red (Capsicum) LOTUS has LARGE, vibrant- red flowers on this stately lotus and can gow 3-5' tall! Can also be placed in deeper water. Fabulous for pond or very large container on your deck or patio! Russian Red Lotus has bright-yellow receptacle and sunny- yellow stamens, along with lush green foliage

Planting Instructions
Plant in very large, wide, shallow container (24-48 inches wide or wider) and use heavy loam soil, place in full sun and place with 6-12" of water above the soil. DO NOT FERTILIZE until you have aerial leaves growing out of the water.
Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize monthly once you have two aerial leaves growing out of the water. We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs + Humates for optimum growth, best bloom and ease of use. Simply press the fertilizer tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus, take care not to damage the roots. Do this each month throughout the growing/blooming season, June through September. Your lotus should grow and bloom the very first year!
