Lotus Plant Description
PINK LIPS LOTUS blooms look as though they have been kissed by an angel with a soft blush of pink at the top of the petals and creamy whites, yellows and pinks follow. The large, heavenly, lotus flowers on Pink Lips Lotus stand high above the foliage and make a statement when planted in your pond or in large container on your deck or patio.

Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant in large, wide, shallow container (24 - 48 inches wide) in loam soil with 6 inches of water above the soil. Place in full sun and fertilize monthly once two aerial leaves are growing out of the water.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Once you have aerial leaves, it is time to fertilize your lotus. We recommend WATERLILY WORLD FERTILIZER TABS + HUMATES for optimum growth, best bloom and ease of use. Simply press the fertilizer tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus. Take care not to damage the roots. Fertilize monthly with fertilizer tabs throughout the growing/blooming season (June through September).
Many large lotus specimens are used for vegetable crops. For complete instructions on growing lotus as a vegetable, go to our "How To Grow Lotus As An Edible Vegetable" page.
