Lotus Planting Instructions
This lotus can be a little more challenging to grow but the flowers are spectacular! Prefers shallow water! Plant in wide (16 - 30 inches wide), shallow container using heavy loam soil with 2 inches of water over tuber, place in full sun (lotus need 8+ hours of sunlight to grow and bloom).
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize monthly AFTER two aerial leaves are growing out of the water. Simply press three or four fertilizer tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus, taking care not to damage the roots. Do this each month (June through September) throughout the growing/blooming season.
