Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant in wide, shallow container in heavy loam soil with 4 - 6 inches of water over surface of pot, place in full sun and fertilize AFTER two aerial leaves are growing out of the water.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize monthly as lotus are heavy feeders! We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs for best bloom, optimum growth and ease of use. Simply press the tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus, taking care not to damage the roots. Fertilize after you have aerial leaves, June through September.
