Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant your lotus tuber in a wide, shallow container in heavy loam soil with 2-4" of water over the top of the pot,more shallow water for smaller lotus tubers. Fertilize when you have aerial leaves growing up and out of the water. Plant in full sun, outdoors. Lotus need 8 - 12 hours of sunlight daily to grow and bloom!
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize your lotus plant once you have aerial leaves growing out of the water. We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs for best bloom, optimum growth and ease of use. Simply press the tabs into the soil, June through September.
