Ruby Slipper Lotus is a remarkable lotus that has red 1st day flowers then to pink and to white on 2nd and 3rd day blooms! Pink picotee on the flowers adds interest to the blooms on the Ruby Slipper Lotus. Ruby Slipper Lotus can grow to 5 feet tall when planted in a large container (30 inches in diameter or wider). Bright-Yellow receptacles and yellow stamens along with lush, green foliage add to the beauty of Ruby Slipper Lotus. Always a sellout and a CUSTOMER FAVORITE!

Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant in a wide, shallow container (24-48 inches wide or wider) using heavy loam soil. Dig a trench in the soil and place the lotus tuber in the trench being careful not to break or damage the growth tips. Cover the lotus tuber with soil while keeping the growth tips exposed. Add 4-8 inches of water above the soil and place in a sunny location outdoors. DO NOT fertilize until you have two standing leaves growing out of the water.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize monthly with fertilizer tabs throughout the growing/blooming season, June through September.
