Lotus Planting Instructions
Plant in wide shallow containers in heavy loam soil and put in sunny location with 2-4" of water above the soil. DO NOT fertilize until you have two standing leaves growing out of the water. Fertilize monthly with fertilizer tabs.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Fertilize your lotus plants throughout the growing/blooming season (June through September). Simply press the fertilizer tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus plant, taking care not to damage the roots of the lotus plant. The last time you should fertilize your lotus plant will be in early September, this will allow your lotus plant to go into dormancy naturally.
